Advanced Movement Principles w. Nora St John

Join us for an inspiring deep dive into Advanced Movement Principles this April and August 2026. This program is designed for the experienced Pilates professional working with clients experiencing imbalances or injuries and is an opportunity to further explore the subtleties of movement while refining how we observe, cue, and support the bodies in front of us.

Featuring recorded and live coursework, Advanced Movement Principles will elevate your ability to see, understand, and improve movement patterns. Program graduates will be recognized as Balanced Body Advanced Movement Practitioners.

Upper Body: April 24 to 26. Together, we will take a fresh look at the thoracic and cervical spine, shoulder, and upper limb to better understand how this complex region functions as an integrated system. The course includes 18 hours of in-person training and 8 hours of video material. You will come away with valuable insights for assessing and addressing misalignments and myofascial imbalances in the upper body.

Lower Body: August 7 to 9. The focus shifts to the lower body, the center of strength, endurance, and functional movement. When misalignments or injuries occur in the hip, knee, ankle, or foot, we lose ease, efficiency, and resilience. This course includes 18 hours of in-person instruction and 10 hours of video material. You will leave with a structured approach to assessing lower body alignment, understanding myofascial balance, and applying clear exercise progressions to improve performance and minimize injury.
